SDCC COOPERATIVE 1st Year Anniversary Celebration held on August 7, 2010 at 1PM. Sabang Disciples Consumers Cooperative has now 60 official members and with about P174,000.00 in capital. Its business ventures, DLA Canteen management, lending services, School Supplies, Coop Grocery and Rice are bringing the Coop funds that support the whole operation and leaving a little for dividend sharing. The registration documents from Cooperative Development Authority is still awaited. There were 4 Logo entries being voted during the celebration to come up with our SDCC official logo. The said logo shall be printed in our SDCC uniform T Shirts c/o of Bro. Bhudz Calungin.

Directorship Seminar of the SDCC (Coop) was held on August 6 with Ms. Regielyn Catibayan a training officer from the Cooperative Union of Cavite. This event is meant to train our SDCC Interim Officers in leading the SDCC Pre Membership Seminar held every quarter of the year.

Finance Team Seminar held on August 21 as part of the Education and Nurturing Program of Sabang Disciples Consumers’ Cooperative. Rucila Tumitit our DLA Bookkeeper as Certified Public Accountant spearheads the said seminar to also equip our leaders on Microsoft Excel.
SDCC Livelihood Seminar on Perfume and Herbal Soap is held August 20 through the efforts of the Education Committee of the SDCC Chaired by Mr. Angelo Calungin. Bro Onie Bermejo lead the soap and perfume making.
