Serenity House of Sobriety

Spiritual nurturing services are being provided to drug addicts or other kinds of addictions by the Pastoral Team with Pastor Leng as the lead Spiritual Adviser.  Worship services on 1st and 2nd Sundays are also conducted with the SCCD Pastors at the helm especially on Communion Sundays.

Serenity Celebrates 7th Founding Anniversary.  Serenity House of Sobriety, a Special Ministry of SCCD providing spiritual nurturing to residents and staff, celebrated its 7th Founding Anniversary on October 23, 2010 at Brgy Sungay East Tagaytay City.  The theme of the celebration was “Discernment: An Imperative to Recovery” a prayerful act of worship was observed, allowing the Holy Spirit to dwell in the hearts of those who attended the event.  Pastor Ronell who came with two other church members reflected on discerning God’s great purpose.  Serenity has now close to 60 residents being treated of addiction in all forms, about 10% of whom are UCCP members.  Pastor Leng, Serenity’s Spiritual Adviser, also attended the event serving as Ceremony Facilitator during the anniversary thanksgiving worship.
