Sunday School

An hour before Worship Service, Sunday school classes are offered from Nursery to Adult handled by volunteer teachers and staff. During Adult Worship Service, the children are gathered to hold their own Children’s Church where Bible stories are told and varied learning activities are done.

Worship Service

One worship service is offered on Sundays at 9:30 to about 11:30 a.m. incorporating Praise and Worship at the beginning.  The attire during the Worship Service is varied with some worshipers wearing semi-formal attire while others wearing jeans.

Piano Scholars Take Part in Children’s Church

The budding youth scholars of piano lessons supported by SCCD’s Scholarship Program namely Sarah Fauni, Mischelle Quezon and Sheila Cortez will begin playing as accompanist during Children’s Church on Sundays.  The younger ones will be scheduled to play in the prelude and postlude.  This is aimed at honing their musical gifts and self-confidence in serving as accompanist in corporate worship.  Our piano scholars, include, aside from the three already mentioned, siblings Van Hallen and Sarah Hayag, Daniellie Fauni, Robee Hernandez, Erich Tumbaga, Paolo Dakis, Krsitel Joy Fauni and Cherlene Sapida who is under the tutelage of Ms. Andrimel Crisostomo and Ms. Myrna Chan.

Ushering/Gatekeeping Ministry

Elders take the leadership on this every Sunday worship. Visitors are asked to sign up and are introduced warmly during church greetings and concerns. Membership data is being more systematized in order to be able to reach out to all members and churchgoers.

Board of Elders to take part in SCCD Worship Life through monitoring and scheduling of Liturgist. Elders also participate in preparing the monthly theme/ lectionary, monitoring Junior Worship in close coordination with all Sunday School level/ teachers. A Liturgical Drama shall be incorporated to the Liturgy where cross curtain shall be opened within the portion of the Liturgy reading of scripture until postlude, to represent the light coming in as Good News being shared to man.
