Ms. Jingle R. Ancheta

Getting to Know the New DLA School Principal

Assuming office as School Principal this academic year 2012-2013 that took effect on April 1, 2012 is Ms. Jingle del Rosario Ancheta who rose from the ranks of faculty and was identified by the School Board to be groomed in school administration way back in April 2010 as recommended by Pastor Leng Lubang, her predecessor.  Ms. Jingle Ancheta joined the DLA as Grade 2 teacher in June 2006 bringing with her a rich experience in classroom teaching from at least three private schools in Dasmarinas handling various levels from Kindergarten to Grade 6.  In the DLA she has taught Grade 1 classes for four years, Grades 2 and 6 for one year each.

She’s a graduate of Bachelor of Elementary Education from Malibago Elementary School in Polo, Oriental Mindoro and has passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers in 2002.  She took up Master of Arts in Educational Management at Dela Salle University, Dasmarinas beginning June 2010 completing the academic requirements and now preparing to take her comprehensive exams for thesis writing.  In March of this year she was recognized with an Award of Commendation by the DLSU Graduate School along with other graduate students who have earned a high grade point average summing up all courses taken in the graduate program.  Teacher Jingle has also earned the highest rating in teaching performance evaluation among the DLA faculty over the past three years.

Teacher Jingle, together with her husband Romeo Ancheta and their only child Chelsiea Atasha were received as regular members of SCCD in 2009.  Her in-laws Linda and Arturo Ancheta who moved to Goldenville in early 2000 from Cagayan Valley where they are members of a UCCP church were instrumental in bringing Teacher Jing to SCCD family. Their child Chelsiea Atasha was baptized in the old church building in 2005 by Pastor Leng.

With her level of professional competence, passion in teaching, commitment and deepening faith in God, it is fervently hoped in Teacher Jing that she would make a difference in the life of the DLA as God’s servant leader and would infuse new and fresh ideas to its educational program. As she mentioned in her testimony, “God must have indeed thwarted my plan of leaving DLA a year after I was hired to transfer to the public school because of this calling to fill up the need for administrative leadership.  I feel humbled and overwhelmed as I take on this great responsibility but thanks be to God who has founded this institution, for surely He will see me through.  I pray that the church would journey with me alongside the DLA family and bear with my continued seeking out of profssional advice from my predecessor Pastor Leng Lubang until such time I have made footprints of my own in the DLA.  The fact cannot be denied that Pastor Leng’s input and linkaging with DLA donors and fund lenders are needed still for institutional stability especially in this leadership transition time.”
