Who the Lord is to Me

Key Thought: Jesus is everything to me.

Key Scripture: “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me” (John 14:6)

Prayer: Lord Jesus, you are my shepherd, I shall not want. You lead me. You are the Good Shepherd and we are the sheep of your pasture. Thank you for your tender care.

You are the door that opens to an entirely new life. You are my fortress, my sure defense. You are the rock upon whom the Church is built and the  gates of hell will never prevail against it. You make me feel secure.

You are my peace, my hope, my health, my all. The Rock of my refuge, my high tower, my shield and buckler. You protect me, Lord. You keep me safe.

You are the word that became flesh and dwelt among us – the word of Life. You are Immanuel – God with us. And you are my righteousness and the strength of my life. You are my light and my salvation, of what should be afraid? Thank you for always being with me, Lord.

I thank you that you are the first and the last, the Alpha and Omega. You are the Sun of righteousness, the fragrant Rose of Sharon and the fairest of ten thousand. You are the Lily of the Valley – the bright and morning star. You are the light of the world, and in you there is no darkness at all. Help me walk in your light at all times, Lord.

You are called Wonderful, Counselor, the Mighty God, the everlasting Father and the Prince of Peace. You are the Holy One of Israel, the Lamb that was slain from the foundation of the world.

You are Jesus, the Savior of the world, and yet you are my personal Lord and Savior and friend. I stand in awe and reverence of your matchless gift of love for me, for even though you are the King of kings and Lord of lords, you willingly died for me.

At your name, every knee must bow and every tongue must confess that you are Lord to the glory of God the Father, yet you are the God in whom I live and move and have my being I whom all my needs are met.

Exalt you name in all the earth, Lord, so that others will see that you are the only thing in life that really matters
